Baked Enamel Architectural Metal Finishing

At Certified Enameling, Inc., we are experts on a wide variety of architectural metal finishing products and services, each one of which is ideally suited to a certain application. Some are better for marine finishes, others for industrial settings, and others are prepared to meet military specifications. For architectural features that will primarily or exclusively be used in an indoor setting, we often recommend that our customers choose Kynar metal finishing or Cenamelizing even though they initially think that they need a baked enamel finish.

Why You Should Use Kynar Coating or Cenamelizing Instead of Baked Enamel Coating

Baked enamel loses out in comparison to PVDF coatings when it comes to durability, corrosion resistancce and overall strength. For this reason, we do not recommend baked enamel coatings. This type of coating does not perform as well in respect to color retention and fading, though it will normally perform adequately for applications like automotive parts, lighting, and residential projects. Kynar Coating and Cenamelize are ideal for:
